      No, the last kernel of the year usually becomes an LTS release. 6.8 EOLs in July and 6.9 should EOL in October so the next LTS kernel will likely be 6.10, maybe 6.11 if 6.10 EOLs in December instead of January. That's assuming they don't increase the version to 7.0 between now and then as well as they follow the standard release cadence without anything crazy happening.
