UNIX beards are closely related to heavy metal beards.

Kudos to the devs for another fantastic 6 month cadence release!

If while you are benchmarking NetBSD 10, some OpenBSD 7.5 benches would be nice Michael.

This looks like a great year for BSDs all around.

Man, the ARM64 ISOs make it SO much easier to install it in virtual machines on my M1 Mac. Bravo devs!

I agree! NetBSD 10 finally! OpenBSD 7.5 and 7.6 this October and FreeBSD 14.1 this summer in July or August depending on how the betas and RCs go.

First release to support the KDE desktop since KDE 3 and KDE 4 were removed from OpenBSD 6.4. KDE 5 was never packaged until now due to KDE adding a hard build dependency on Wayland back in 2014 which OpenBSD didn’t support until this very release - however the version of KDE Plasma 5.27.10 in OpenBSD doesn’t include the Wayland session just yet
