    Wasn't Emil with some family issues? The last release was late too, wasn't it?

      The last release was delayed on purpose because they wanted to get GL 4.3 enabled.

      More recently there have been a lack of the bug fix releases that were supposed to happen every other week, and those are presumably due to personal issues the release manager was dealing with.
