INB4, the link has a photo which explicitly shows you can disable features individually so you don't have to have your desktop know your browsing history.

I'm super excited. More desktop integration has always been what I've wanted from my browser and it kinda comes and goes as times and tech change.

But Chrome and Firefox needs to get ported to Wayland to run on KDE on Wayland.

Because now KWin and KDE Plasma can run on Wayland.

Applications which don't natively have Wayland support can be used during a Wayland session via Xwayland. On my laptop, which runs Plasma/Wayland, everything including Firefox works just fine. Chrome can be launched too, no issues.

Hope the "Chrome" support is something generic for Chromium, meaning other Chromium-based browsers (Opera, Vivaldi) work too.

most likely because of chromium so yes.

Yeah, because nobody runs KDE on X anymore. Also, complaining (over and over and over) about things not supporting Wayland on Phoronix forums will definitely help speed development. Keep up the good work!
