Let's hope they have addressed some Wayland bugs... Plasma on Wayland regressed a lot as of unsolved Qt bugs.

        OpenSSL 1.1 back-end
Finally no need to switch from openssl1.1 to openssl1.0 when developing

afair Plasma will stay with Qt 5.9 LTS or this is recommended by devs.

No, Qt 5.9 will just be the mandated minimum version for Plasma 5.12. Like Qt 5.6 was for for Plasma 5.8

This is distro specific. I'm sure Arch Linux will switch quite fast to Qt 5.10. The errata of Plasma 5.11 is mentioning several bugs that are not addressed by Qt :-( https://community.kde.org/Plasma/5.11_Errata

Most of those items are things missing in Wayland. Not much Qt can do about that.

The Qt bugs are clearly mentioned in that list... so yes, the list contains issues of Plasma 5.11 beta as well. I just wanted to refer to the Qt bugs on that list.

Some of those Qt bugs are stuff missing in Wayland. There a few real ones too. But note for instance that stuff like the qtwebengine crash doesn't apply to KDE wayland.
