    Is it possible to ask if there is still possibility to merge
    GCN Backend Code For GCC Compiler ?

    SUSE developers have been working on that for AMD and today they have published their code branch. This GCN back-end for GCC is primarily focused on compute capabilities rather than compiling graphics shaders.

    Hopefully we'll see the code mature to the point where it will be found in next year's GCC 8 release.

    Because there are o patches since july, the 31st (or 30th) 2017 and Mr. Hubicka say that Mentor graphics works is not ready as patch therefor my hope of merging is not as high as it was in march
