    It looks like we have fixed something very fundamental, but looking over the commits between 3.11 and 3.12 doesn't show anything that could cause this.

    Could somebody please do a bisect to figure out what's happening here?

    Thanks in advance,
    Christian.

      I know someone who refuses to use open source drivers with his Radeon GPU because he needs to set a specific voltage/fan speed and downclock slightly or else his graphics card will be unstable.
      Forgot to say this, I pity the fool who does not return clearly faulty hw under warranty.

          Seems you'll need to grab it off SourceForge SVN.

              Do you have visuals when running PTS?
              Could it be that some functions like anti-aliasing, which is supposed to be turned on, is actually malfunctioning, resulting in higher but non comparable tests?

                PTS does screenshots if you enable the module, maybe in a next article?

                @Michael
                I agree about maximizing views but if you plan to bisect it, then please do it ASAP and point agd5f to the culprit commit, at least privately...
                I would do it myselft but I don't have access to any hardware right now.

                  Maybe because such things usually happen after the first year?
