The Current Linux Performance With 16 ARM Boards
The ASUS Tinker Board almost near universally delivered the best performance-per-dollar in the benchmarks ran across these 16 available ARM boards. The Tinker Board as a reminder launched last year as the first ASUS entrance into the ARM SBC space and for around $60 USD you can have this Raspberry Pi sized board with a Rockchip RK3288 SoC, 2GB of LPDDR3 memory, SD 3.0, and Mali T764 graphics.
Again, if you would like to compare your own system(s) performance to these benchmarks, simply install the Phoronix Test Suite and run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1809111-RA-ARMLINUX005 for your own fully-automated, side-by-side benchmark comparison. Set the COST_PERF_PER_DOLLAR= environment variable if wishing to factor in the performance-per-dollar analysis too.
