One of the major areas that continues to mature nicely is the Mesa RADV Vulkan and RadeonSI OpenGL drivers for Radeon hardware... Not just the graphics/gaming performance but also Vulkan compute benefits as well from the newer driver stack.

The integrated Vega graphics have already been performing well with the Mesa drivers since earlier this year, but in some tests there are improvements to find if using Ubuntu 21.10 or going further and shifting to the latest upstream Linux kernel and Mesa Git state.

The OpenGL micro-benchmarks especially benefited from the newer stack found with Ubuntu 21.10.
