Geometric Mean Of All Test Results benchmark with settings of Result Composite, AMD Radeon PRO WX 7000 Series Linux. Radeon Pro W7700 was the fastest.

Across the wide assortment of OpenGL and Vulkan benchmarks carried out, the Radeon PRO W7700 was 51% faster than the W7600 on average. Those interested can find all of my data via this OpenBenchmarking.org result page including all the individual power and performance-per-Watt graphs for those interested.

With this being a dual slot graphics card, cooling on the Radeon PRO W7700 was in good shape and similar to the single-slot PRO W7500. Under load the W7700 had an average operating temperature of 69 degrees and a peak of 80 degrees.

Overall the Radeon PRO W7700 is working out very well under Linux and it remains very enjoyable seeing all of the new professional (and consumer) Radeon graphics cards continuing to have great out-of-the-box support on launch day for OpenGL and Vulkan. Overall the Radeon PRO W7700 is looking to be a nice sub-$1000 workstation graphics card for Linux use. The one downside right now is AMD ROCm not officially supporting the PRO graphics cards besides the Radeon PRO W7900, but I am awaiting word from AMD when they may officially be supporting ROCm for the W7500 / W7600 / W7700 / W7800 hardware. In any event this Radeon PRO W7800 is quite nice and stay tuned for further Linux benchmarks on Phoronix over the coming weeks. Thanks to AMD for providing the review sample for this launch-day Linux testing.
