For the RealSR-NCNN image upscaling using Real-World Super Resolution implementation with the NCNN inference framework, RADV was faster for all the runs.

Meanwhile for the Waifu2x-NCNN benchmark that uses the NCNN neural network framework with the Waifu2x converter, AMDVLK was faster on all three graphics cards.

AMDVLK was also much faster than RADV at the VkResample Vulkan image sampling library built off VkFFT.

That's the quick look today how the latest AMDVLK and RADV drivers are comparing for the RDNA graphics cards under Linux. As the Mesa 21.0 stable release approaches there will be a much larger Linux gaming GPU comparison to enjoy. But long story short, with all the recent data we've been seeing, Linux gamers are still generally best off using Mesa's RADV Vulkan driver instead of AMDVLK but as these numbers show there are always exceptions depending upon the games/software of importance to you.
