OpenFOAM benchmark with settings of Input: drivaerFastback, Small Mesh Size, Mesh Time. Ubuntu 23.10 was the fastest.

In a few rare cases Ubuntu 24.04 ended up slightly regressing performance compared to the prior Ubuntu ARM64 releases tested.

SPECFEM3D benchmark with settings of Model: Layered Halfspace. Ubuntu 23.10 was the fastest.
SPECFEM3D benchmark with settings of Model: Homogeneous Halfspace. Ubuntu 23.10 was the fastest.
SPECFEM3D benchmark with settings of Model: Water-layered Halfspace. Ubuntu 24.04 18 March was the fastest.

In the workloads that improved going from Ubuntu 22.04 LTS to 23.10, at least they tended to still carry over nicely to Ubuntu 24.04.

It would be much more interesting to see how AmpereOne is performing with Ubuntu 24.04.
