Even with the mass amount of macOS x86_64 software out there, Rosetta 2.0 is generally quite capable in at least delivering comparable performance to the previous-generation Mac Mini with Intel Coffee Lake CPU.

One outlier in the testing was the FLAC audio encoding where running the x86_64 binary under Rosetta actually reveald much better performance than the native ARM64 build running on the M1, presumably due to the lack of aggressive optimizations for FLAC on ARM.
