The weight of this Dell S2409W monitor is just over five kilograms and its overall dimensions are 576 x 222 x 416 mm. Around the screen itself is a very thin plastic bezel with a shiny black finish.

The controls for the monitor are positioned in the lower right hand corner. These controls include buttons for power, the on-screen display, up, down, and menu selection.

The rear of the Dell S2409W has a flat black finish with ventilation for the monitor along the top and bottom. If you wish to use a VESA wall-mount for this monitor there are two screws that need to be removed from the rear of the monitor. The stand for this monitor allows the display to be titled front and back slightly, but does not allow for any rotation or height adjustments.

VGA, DVI-D, and HDMI are the supported inputs on this monitor. The AC/DC power adapter for this monitor is built directly into the unit. For keeping the monitor secure, this Dell LCD does have a Kensington lock slot. The audio ports on this Dell LCD are not for integrated speakers, but for an optional sound bar that can attach to the bottom of the monitor.
