Mesa's New "Crocus" OpenGL Driver Is Performing Well For Old Intel Hardware

In some scenarios for the open-source game DDraceNetwork, the Crocus driver was providing slightly better performance over the i965 driver.

With OpenArena the peak frame times were lower when using Crocus.

The main performance regression seen from this initial Gen7 Haswell graphics testing was Crocus running much slower for the Tesseract open-source game.

Even for older Unigine tech demos, Crocus and i965 were performing close to the same speed.
