Intel Haswell To Ice Lake Laptop Performance Benchmarks On Ubuntu 19.10

Not the focus of our testing, but the storage performance is a lot better on the latest Ice Lake laptop compared to the older Broadwell and Haswell days and those original solid-state drives.

The Gen11 graphics on the Core i7 1065G7 are a big boost over Gen9 and earlier, as we have shown already in various other articles while additional Icelake/Gen11 Linux tests are forthcoming in various articles.

And the benchmarking fun with the CPU workloads. Compared to the older laptops where Core i7 meant 2 cores / 4 threads, the Core i7 1065G7 is a great deal faster.
