Like with some of the single-threaded tests shown earlier, the web browser performance with Firefox 81 across all the laptops was rather disappointing. For many of these browser benchmarks the Core i7 1165G7 on the Dell XPS 13 9310 was slower than the previous-generation Dell XPS with Ice Lake. Though even with Tiger Lake for some Firefox benchmarks actually performing slower on Linux, the performance tended to be comparable to the AMD Ryzen "Renoir" laptops tested.

Like the few other regressed workloads, this indeed seems to be due to Tiger Lake power management in some scenarios clocking lower than Ice lake and the Whiskey Lake Dell XPS laptops.
