For GPU compute in areas like Hashcat with OpenCL, the Windows 11 vs. Ubuntu 23.04 performance for the RTX 4080/4090 graphics cards was nearly identical.

OctaneBench benchmark with settings of Total Score. RTX 4090: Windows 11 Pro was the fastest.

The proprietary Octane renderer also saw similar performance between both operating systems.

LuxCoreRender benchmark with settings of Scene: DLSC, Acceleration: GPU. RTX 4090: Windows 11 Pro was the fastest.

The LuxCore rendering results were a mixed bag with some scenes rendering faster on Windows 11 while for other scenes the performance was noticeably faster on Linux.
