The open-source YQuake2 game with its Vulkan renderer was running fine atop the NVK driver... But at not even 30 frames per second at 1080p for this Quake 2 open-source game.

Again though, at least the game was running -- along with a few other games attempted -- and it's a nice start for NVK. The low performance is not at all surprising given the long-standing issues around power management / re-clocking. These Vulkan results aren't very different from the current Nouveau NVC0 OpenGL performance on the GeForce GTX 900 series and newer.

There isn't much to get excited about benchmarking until the GSP support is ready for the Nouveau kernel driver.
