Benchmarks Of OpenMandriva's AMD Zen Optimized Linux Distribution Against Ubuntu, openSUSE, Clear Linux

With the boot time at least OpenMandriva was competitive but Clear Linux still came out ahead.
If looking at the geometric mean of all the benchmarks carried out for the tests that ran on all platforms tested, OpenMandriva Lx 4.0 was in last with its AMD Zen optimized version slightly ahead while openSUSE Tumbleweed was a great deal faster. Coming about tied for first on this AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X system was Ubuntu 19.04 and Clear Linux.
The Znver1-optimized OpenMandriva Lx 4.0 build can offer some slight performance benefits over the generic x86-64 version, but as shown by these benchmarks, the likes of Ubuntu, Clear Linux, and openSUSE were a great deal faster. OpenMandriva was the only Linux distribution assembled using LLVM Clang rather than GCC, it strangely still defaults to using the conservative CPUFreq configuration, and other differences from the higher profile (and faster) Linux distributions.
