SPECViewPerf 2020 benchmark with settings of Resolution: 1920 x 1080, Viewset: ENERGY-03. Radeon PRO W7600 was the fastest.

With the old FirePro graphics cards having OpenGL 4.5 support with RadeonSI still maintained, these old graphics cards were capable of running a few of the modern SPECViewPerf 2020 tests. However, some of the SPECViewPerf2020 tests understandably failed to run due to the age of those older GPUs and the 2GB vRAM limit. Needless to say, there's been incredible GPU performance advancements over the past 13 years.

The power efficiency as well has improved significantly since the days of those 40nm GPUs.

SNX-04 also showed the incredible advancements to the Radeon professional graphics over the past 13 years -- all while these GPUs were all running Linux 6.4 + Mesa 23.3.

The ParaView workstation visualization software was able to run on the old FirePro graphics cards better than SPECViewPerf 2020 while still scaling up with these new Radeon PRO RDNA3-based GPUs.

From slowest to fastest is a 32x difference in the Radeon professional graphics performance with ParaView over the past 13 years.
