With the recently-released Unigine Superposition benchmark, AMDGPU-PRO for now is maintaining a noticeable lead over RadeonSI Gallium3D, but given the Mesa developers really haven't optimized for this Unigine 2 test yet, expect the open-source numbers to elevate in the weeks/months ahead.

Finally with Xonotic, the latest open-source driver code is getting faster but is not yet fast enough to beat out AMDGPU-PRO for this popular open-source first person shooter game.

Overall these numbers show the Radeon RX 580 to be in excellent shape atop the fully open Radeon Linux driver stack and are some of the best relative AMDGPU-PRO vs. AMDGPU+RadeonSI numbers we have seen to date. It will be interesting to see how these drivers compare with the upcoming Radeon RX Vega stack considering the open-source support is still coming together.
