When starting off the new Unvanquished release with intermediate image quality settings at 1920 x 1080, all graphics cards were able to deliver above 60 FPS frame-rates on average aside from the Radeon HD 6450 and Intel HD Graphics 4600.

The higher-end AMD Radeon GPUs had no problems delivering great results on the open-source AMD Linux driver. In fact, several Unvanquished developers appear to use open-source AMD Linux graphics themselves.

When bumping the default configuration up to the high quality image presets, only the Radeon HD 6870 was able to deliver above a 60 FPS average at 1920 x 1080.

While the Radeon HD 6950, HD 7950, and R9 270X graphics cards are more powerful than the HD 6870, their open-source code is less mature than the HD 6870 on R600g.
