Overall there was very healthy competition among these Linux kernel flavors on Ubuntu 20.10 running atop the Ryzen 9 5900X desktop.

Of 143 benchmarks ran in total on the five tested kernels for this system, the XanMod kernel was in first place 32% of the time and the Liquorix kernel in first place 36% of the time... Meanwhile the newest upstream code, Linux 5.11 Git, was in first place just 5% of the time due to the poor performance with Linux 5.11 due to the AMD CPU frequency invariance support regressing things with the Schedutil governor.

Linux 5.11 Git was in last place most often.

When looking at the geometric mean of all 143 benchmarks, XanMod was about 4~5% faster than the default Ubuntu 20.10 kernel and that of upstream Linux 5.10 for which XanMod is currently based. See all 143 benchmarks in full via OpenBenchmarking.org.
