Gigabyte's Radeon R9 270X 2GB graphics card features a "WINDFORCE 3X" cooling system that is comprised of three fans spanning the entire length of the graphics card PCB that in turn are blowing on a series of aluminum fins attached to two copper heatpipes. Gigabyte's heatsink design should allow for very adequate cooling of the Curacao XT core and 2GB of GDDR5 video memory.

Display connections on this Radeon R9 270X graphics card include two dual-link DVI connectors plus one DisplayPort and one HDMI ports. The AMD R9 270X allows for driving three displays simultaneously.

With the graphics card having a 180-Watt max TDP, there are two 6-pin PCI Express power connectors for feeding enough power to this high-end 28nm graphics card. Gigabyte recommends at least a 500-Watt power supply for ample energy.

The dimensions on this PCI Express x16 3.0 graphics card are 297 x 132 x 43 mm.
