The performance story is similar with OpenArena, which is the least demanding OpenGL Linux benchmark used.

With OpenArena, the Ubuntu x86 performance was quicker to fall behind PC-BSD x86 than the x86_64 builds.

At 1920 x 1080, running the OpenArena Linux build on the BSD OS was about 14% faster than the latest Ubuntu Linux release. Worth noting is that for OpenArena, unlike some of these other tests, the 64-bit Linux build is faster than the 32-bit Linux build.
