COREBOOT
Consulting firm 3mdeb that specializes in embedded systems with an emphasis on open-source firmware solutions like Coreboot is hosting an interesting virtual event later today.

Engineers with 3mdeb have worked on open-source AMD firmware efforts, porting FWUPD from Linux to BSDs, Coreboot POWER activities, and more.

The EU-based consulting firm has worked for various organizations on open-source software/hardware primarily around firmware and other low-level bits and is one of the well known names when it comes to Coreboot-related work.

Beginning today (18 February) at 3PM GMT they are hosting the "3mdeb vBeer Online Party". This virtual event will be talking at length about Coreboot, exploring Coreboot for modern PCs, and more.

The virtual event is basically going to be about all things open-source firmware/Coreboot... And how to make it even better? Enjoying the event with beer is encouraged.

The basic details are laid out in this forum post. This open-source firmware event is being hosted at live.evenea.com with a countdown timer. The event is expected to last several hours.
