For fans of the Ardour digital audio workstation software, version 5.0 of this popular open-source audio software is now available.

With Ardour 5.0, Windows is now a supported platform alongside the long-standing OS X and Linux support. Ardour 5.0 also brings a tabbed user interface, VCA control masters, temp ramps, Lua scripting support, new built-in plugins, and more.
