The first beta of KDevelop 5.2 is now available as the KDE-focused integrated development environment.

New code analysis functionality in KDevelop 5.2 includes Heaptrack as a C/C++ heap memory profiler and cppcheck is now enabled by default for static analysis of C++ programs. On the language side, KDevelop 5.2 has been working on better C++ support as well as improved PHP language support and also some fixes/improvements for Python.

KDevelop 5.2 Beta 1 also has a Perforce VCS implementation for those still using this proprietary revision control system.
