Unvanquished Alpha 27 Has Shared Texture Packages

The Unvanquished open-source first person shooter game is out with its monthly development update.

Unvanquished Alpha 27 ships with a set of seven compressed texture sets that can be easily used by the game's map makers without these packages depending upon other maps. These shared texture packages reduce the size of the Unvanquished game while also reducing map load time and yielding better performance.

Unvanquished Alpha 27 also has a new common shader set, gamma reset, and several map upgrades.
