NOUVEAU
For those using the xf86-video-nouveau X.Org driver rather than xf86-video-modesetting, the Nouveau DDX v1.0.14 release took place today.

This is the first official release of the xf86-video-nouveau driver since last September, but hey, it's release cadence remains much better than xf86-video-intel ;) Found in this updated Nouveau DDX driver release is GM10x acceleration support with EXA as well as GM20x.

Nouveau developers previously endorsed xf86-video-modesetting for Maxwell/GLAMOR and dropped earlier code while now GM10x/GM20x is supported by this new DDX driver release thanks to work done by Ilia Mirkin.

The xf86-video-nouveau 1.0.14 release also now considers CRTCs disabled when DPMS is off, which is a fix done by a Red Hat developer and appears to be the reason for tagging the release today. There are also fixes for X.Org Server 1.19 ABI support and various other changes. More details via the xf86-video-nouveau Git repository.
