PHORONIX TEST SUITE
The latest and last planned development release of Phoronix Test Suite 7.0-Ringsaker is now available for your cross-platform, open-source benchmarking needs.

Phoronix Test Suite 7.0 Milestone 5 is the last planned development release prior to officially announcing v7.0.0. The current plan is to do that official release in one week's time, to allow for any last minute trivial adjustments as well as ensuring proper Phodevi hardware reporting around AMD's upcoming Ryzen processor launch.

Found in Phoronix Test Suite 7.0 Milestone 5 is support for using BZIP2 compression when uploading test result XML data to OpenBenchmarking.org, result-file handling improvements, a new report_test_run_times module that can be activated via the RUN_TIMES_ARE_A_BENCHMARK=1 environment variable along with other bug fixes and various minor improvements.

Phoronix Test Suite 7.0 M5 is available from GitHub and Phoronix-Test-Suite.com. Let us know of any last minute bugs or minor feature requests and look forward to Phoronix Test Suite 7.0.0 to be released next week.
