Sway 0.12 was released earlier this month as the newest feature update to this i3-compatible Wayland compositor.

This Wayland compositor effort has been in development for a while and has a steady following, in part due to its compatibility with the i3 tiling window manager.

The Sway 0.12 release has 93 changes from just under one dozen developers. The changes include RedShift support, new automatic layout modes for Automatic migrants, security improvements, gamma adjustment support, a number of bug fixes, and other adjustments.

Fans of Sway wishing to find out more about the latest Wayland compositor work for this project can learn more via the project's GitHub site.
