Valve Preparing To Roll Out SteamVR 360 Video Playback

Valve issued a new Steam client beta this afternoon where the sole listed change are the internal changes for supporting SteamVR 360 video playback.

Confirmation of the internal changes for dealing with SteamVR 360 video playback was posted to Steam Community. As far as SteamVR 360 video playback, watch the video embedded below.

At 37 minutes in they cover their plans for Steam 360 video. With SteamVR being in beta on Linux, presumably this new video offering will be available on Linux when the support officially rolls out.
