The annual X.Org Developers' Conference devoted to all things X.Org / Mesa / Wayland / DRM will for the first time be hosted in Spain next year.

Following last week's XDC2017 conference in Mountain View, California hosted by Google, the X.Org Foundation Board of Directors decided on the venue for XDC2018. The board has taken up Samuel Iglesias of Igalia on their offer for organizing the XDC2018 conference.

So far they have just announced La Coruña, Spain as the location for this conference anticipated for next September, as mentioned during the board meeting that took place on Thursday. No other details are yet available, but stay tuned to Phoronix to find out more.
