For users of the Xfce4 desktop environment, a new release of xfce4-notifyd 0.4 is now available as the project's newest feature release.

The xfce4-notifyd 0.4.0 release introduces a new panel plugin for showing recent desktop notifications. Additionally, there's easy access to a do-not-disturb mode and also tune other notification settings too. This Xfce4-Notifyd update also features logging improvements, a new slide-out animation when displaying notifications, a new logo, and other improvements.

More details on xfce4-notifyd 0.4.0 via the blog post announcement. Unfortunately, no broader update on the lengthy process of getting to Xfce 4.14.
