digiKam 5.6 is now available as the latest version of this open-source photo management software aligned with KDE/Qt.

The digiKam 5.6 release adds an HTML gallery tool, a video slideshow tool is now available too, a database integrity tool is present and allows shrinking a lot of stale data from the database, a new items grouping feature, geolocation bookmarks support, and more.
