Valve's latest addition to SteamOS -- their Linux-based gaming OS -- is Steam Music, a nice way to play audio in the background while running any Steam games.

Steam Music will initially premiere for SteamOS and Steam Big Picture Mode while later it will come to the desktop Steam client. Right now Valve is just at a stage of beta testing Steam Music but if you're interested in this latest SteamOS feature check out the details -- and to try to participate in the beta -- via this SteamCommunity.com group. While you're at it, be sure to join as well our Steam Community group.
