I am emailing to tell you about the current status of PlayOnLinux. I am one of the team members, and some pretty exciting stuff has been happening with the project. Those wishing to try out the latest version of PlayOnLinux or to learn more can visit PlayOnLinux.com.
Our website has undergone an overhaul, redesigning the menus and script tracking system, our forums have also gained more functionality in terms of more options for the users. PlayOnLinux and PlayOnMac have been given some great visual updates, including window-resizing and a more robust system for automatically creating shortcuts after installing an application.
We have also started experimental BSD support for POL, as well.
Not to mention the new installers that have become available for applications like Adobe Lightroom 5.x, Skyrim, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, a script to install WineASIO for all of those musicians out there.
Again, it has been a very exciting year for us, the community is going strong, and we have some more plans for features to make POL/POM just that much better.
