Intel Core i9 9900K vs. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Linux Gaming Performance

With DiRT Rally 2.0 and Batman both running on Linux with Valve's Steam Play, the performance was similar between the two tested processors.

HITMAN is the most recent native Linux game port from Feral Interactive for this franchise. With this older OpenGL game port, the Core i9 9900K yielded better performance.

But when running the newer Hitman 2 game on Linux via Steam Play, the Ryzen 9 3900X led to much better performance when paired with the NVIDIA graphics cards.
