Intel Core i9 9900K vs. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Linux Gaming Performance
Strange Brigade is another Steam Play title on Linux. The performance was close here between the tested processors but in favor of the Intel 9900K.
The X-Plane 11 flight simulator saw a few more FPS when running on the Core i9 9900K.
Under the open-source Xonotic first person shooter, the Radeon RX 5700 XT performed better with the 3900X while the two NVIDIA Turing graphics cards did their best on the Intel 9900K.
Similarly with Tesseract, the RX 5700 XT saw a boost with the Ryzen processor while the RTX 2080 tied between the two processors.
