Creative Ways To Open Beer With Computer Hardware
We had tried to use a plastic computer cooling fan to remove the beers cap, but with our try, it hadn't worked out. The plastic fan just could not withstand the pressure forced upon it.
Using half of a Thermalright GPU heatsink with heatpipes was an easy (and affordable) way of removing a beer cap. We had used just half of the heatsink and then with the heatpipes and the edges on the aluminum heatsink it was very easy to remove the cap.
We were able to record videos from some of the computer part beer openings and are in the process of still compressing and editing those films. That footage will likely be posted in the Phoronix Forums in the future. Is there anything we missed or should have tried? You can tell us in the forums as well. Remember, be safe and drink responsibly. Enjoy!
