AMD EPYC 7351P Linux Performance: 16 Core / 32 Thread Server CPU For ~$750
The EPYC 7351P strikes in line with the much more expensive Xeon Gold 6138 in the TTSIOD 3D renderer on the CPUs.
The x264 video encoding benchmark doesn't scale anywhere close to linearly with high core counts, but still the EPYC CPUs are running well for this common workload.
The 7-Zip compression test meanwhile results come in line with expectations given its great scaling abilities.
For the asmFish chess benchmark, the EPYC 7351P runs in line with the Xeon Gold 6138.
The EPYC 7351P also does extremely well with ebizzy, the benchmark designed to model web application server performance.
