First up is looking at a variety of workloads where SMT proved advantageous for Bergamo with the EPYC 9754 processors.

Blender benchmark with settings of Blend File: BMW27, Compute: CPU-Only. EPYC 9754 2P: SMT On was the fastest.
Blender benchmark with settings of Blend File: Classroom, Compute: CPU-Only. EPYC 9754 2P: SMT On was the fastest.
Blender benchmark with settings of Blend File: Fishy Cat, Compute: CPU-Only. EPYC 9754 2P: SMT On was the fastest.
Blender benchmark with settings of Blend File: Barbershop, Compute: CPU-Only. EPYC 9754 2P: SMT On was the fastest.

Blender 3D modeling with its CPU-based rendering tended to still benefit marginally from having SMT available with the new AMD EPYC Bergamo processors.

The Blender render times sped up with SMT enabled while only having a small impact on the CPU power consumption.

LuxCoreRender benchmark with settings of Scene: DLSC, Acceleration: CPU. EPYC 9754 2P: SMT On was the fastest.
LuxCoreRender benchmark with settings of Scene: Orange Juice, Acceleration: CPU. EPYC 9754 2P: SMT On was the fastest.
LuxCoreRender benchmark with settings of Scene: LuxCore Benchmark, Acceleration: CPU. EPYC 9754 1P: SMT On was the fastest.
LuxCoreRender benchmark with settings of Scene: Rainbow Colors and Prism, Acceleration: CPU. EPYC 9754 1P: SMT On was the fastest.

The LuxCore renderer similarly benefited a lot with the SMT support found on the EPYC 9754 and yielded better power efficiency.
