AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D Linux Performance
Even without Linux being specially optimized for the Ryzen 9 7900X3D/7950X3D and its split frequency/cache CCD configuration, these new processors were performing well overall and benefiting in the workloads able to make use of the hefty cache on these desktop processors.
And in the workloads not able to effectively use the 128MB L3 cache, these X3D processors at least delivered a nice performance-per-Watt uplift.
The performance-per-Watt aspect of the Ryzen 9 7900X3D/7950X3D is quite under-rated compared to all the talk these CPUs have just around the gaming advantages.
