BRL-CAD benchmark with settings of VGR Performance Metric. Core i9 13900K was the fastest.

The AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D with its separate cache and frequency optimized CCDs did lead to a number of losses against the Ryzen 9 7950X in the areas outside of gaming but for some workloads the big L3 cache still paid off...

The Ryzen 9 7950X3D did manage to deliver the best performance in a number of the AI benchmarks with Microsoft's ONNX Runtime.

ONNX Runtime benchmark with settings of Model: ResNet50 v1-12-int8, Device: CPU, Executor: Standard. Ryzen 9 7950X3D was the fastest.
ONNX Runtime benchmark with settings of Model: Faster R-CNN R-50-FPN-int8, Device: CPU, Executor: Standard. Ryzen 9 7950X was the fastest.
OpenVINO benchmark with settings of Model: Face Detection FP16, Device: CPU. Ryzen 9 7950X was the fastest.

The AMD Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors perform excellent with Intel's OpenVINO thanks to the double-pumped AVX-512 implementation while here the AMD 3D V-Cache with the Ryzen 9 7950X3D wasn't able to provide any extra benefit at large.
