While Team Fortress 2 was faster with the open-source Radeon drivers, the system power consumption as measured by the WattsUp Pro was also higher averages than under Catalyst.

As a result of the higher power consumption, the power efficiency of the open-source driver on Team Fortress 2 fell behind the Catalyst binary blob.
