The numbers today should be no real surprise if you are a frequent Phoronix reader. The NVIDIA Kepler GPU performance has improved with Linux 3.16 thanks to re-clocking support, but for most Kepler GPUs the re-clocking support only works partially and cannot be fully-clocked to the highest performance state. However, at least the Nouveau code is moving in the right direction. For Linux gamers caring about open-source drivers, AMD Radeon remains the best choice for a pleasurable, high performance experience.
