For the GpuTest results, which is a synthetic test and not the best one out there, the Ubuntu Linux driver generally was running behind the Windows driver on this Toshiba laptop except for in the Pixmark tests where Ubuntu Linux was reported as faster than Windows 10.

Compared to last month's Windows 10 Skylake benchmarks, Broadwell on Linux seemed to hold its ground better. With the Skylake Xonotic and GPUTest benchmarks there was a more significant difference in performance on that more modern architecture, which the Intel Open-Source Technology Center team is continuing to tweak and improve upon with subsequent Linux kernel and Mesa updates. If you missed it, there's also November's a NVIDIA Windows vs. Linux comparison and a Windows Catalyst vs. Radeon Open-Source.
