Java SciMark benchmark with settings of Computational Test: Composite. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.
Java SciMark benchmark with settings of Computational Test: Monte Carlo. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.
Java SciMark benchmark with settings of Computational Test: Sparse Matrix Multiply. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.
DaCapo Benchmark benchmark with settings of Java Test: Jython. No v3 or v4 was the fastest.

When running various Java benchmarks against the CachyOS-supplied OpenJDK packages, there was a slight uptick in the x86-64-v4 packages.

DaCapo Benchmark benchmark with settings of Java Test: GraphChi. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.
DaCapo Benchmark benchmark with settings of Java Test: Batik SVG Toolkit. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.
DaCapo Benchmark benchmark with settings of Java Test: PMD Source Code Analyzer. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.

For the OpenJDK Java workloads tested against the CachyOS packages, the x86-64-v4 repository tended to provide slightly better performance.

Zstd Compression benchmark with settings of Compression Level: 8, Compression Speed. No v3 or v4 was the fastest.
Zstd Compression benchmark with settings of Compression Level: 19, Compression Speed. No v3 or v4 was the fastest.
Zstd Compression benchmark with settings of Compression Level: 19, Decompression Speed. x86-64-v3 was the fastest.
Zstd Compression benchmark with settings of Compression Level: 19, Long Mode, Compression Speed. x86-64-v3 was the fastest.
Zstd Compression benchmark with settings of Compression Level: 19, Long Mode, Decompression Speed. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.

When evaluating the Zstd performance based on the binaries supplied by CachyOS, there didn't end up being any real performance difference.

GNU Radio benchmark with settings of Test: Five Back to Back FIR Filters. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.
GNU Radio benchmark with settings of Test: Signal Source (Cosine). x86-64-v4 was the fastest.
GNU Radio benchmark with settings of Test: FIR Filter. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.
GNU Radio benchmark with settings of Test: IIR Filter. No v3 or v4 was the fastest.
GNU Radio benchmark with settings of Test: FM Deemphasis Filter. x86-64-v4 was the fastest.

With the GNU Radio software provided by CachyOS there tended to be some nice performance benefits from x86-64-v3 and x86-64-v4. Though note at the time of testing the slight minor version difference in the repositories between x86-64-v3 and x86-64-v4 for this software.
